Backplate for Stoorstålka eyelet 4 mm. Use it when setting eyelets in thinner material as fabric, thin leather etc. You will need a pretty hard underlay when working in thin material, so the eyelet can compress.
If you are settting eyelets in heavier belt leather, there is not necessary to use a backplate - but it will give the backside of your belt and extra exclusive finish.
